What is a Notary Public &
What do they do?

A Notary Public is a Ministerial Official who must adhere to stringent State Laws, of the State in which they have shown proven integrity to serve the public as an official, impartial witness. The Notary has been given the powers (by the Secretary of State in which they are Commissioned) to witness the signing of a document (s) and to administer Oaths, Acknowledgements, or Affirmation. Yet, the most important duty of a Notary involves ensuring a signer's identity (preventing fraud) and the signer's willingness to sign the document.

How is your information protected and what is done with it once it's placed in my Journal of Notarial Acts

Once I begin to record the information in my Journal of Notarial Acts, it's protected with a cover sheet or placed in a secured protected  place for documents of that type information so that no one else is able to see it. When the Notarization is completed and all the information is logged into the journal, the Journal is placed in a secure place under my care, and no one else has access to it. None of your information is ever given to anyone that does not have legal authorization to gain access to it. To gain access, one must have official Notarize Documents and the proper ID to gain access.

Documents that I will Notarize, Plus the fees associated with them.

I will Notarize most documents such as Affidavit, Jurat, Acknowledgment, Power of Attorney, Affirmation, Apostille, Attorney-in-Fact, Certificate of Naturalization or Certificate of Citizenship, (you must speak English) Immigration Document, Living Will, Oaths, Protest, Permission slips, and other important documents that can be Notarize.

The cost of notarizing a document is $8.00 for the performance of a Notarial Act and $30.00 for the performance of a remote Notarial Act. When a Notary Public is requested to Notarize more than one copy of the same record, where the copy or copies have been signed at the same time, by the same person or persons, the Notary may demand and receive $8.00 for each Notarial Act on the Original and $4.00 for each Notarial Act on each additional copy of the same record. A Notary may demand and receive not more than $2.00 for each photocopy made of a Notarial Act if asked to make copies of the documents that were notarized. A Notary public may charge $6.00 for certifying a copy of a record in the notary's journal.
